Mary Anne and the Blue Mountain Bistro crew are amazing!!! Having locally sourced ingredients was very important to us when looking for a wedding caterer and Blue Mountain does it right, for a fair price and with great taste! We actually visited the store and picked up dinner to-go before booking and were blown away from the taste and quality of the offerings. From the incredibly stocked grazing table and passed hors d'oeuvres all the way through the wedding cake and bite-sized tartlets, everything was super delicious and beautifully presented. Multiple wedding guests came up to us to say that the steak was the best they ever had at a wedding. Coming from a crew that visits top quality restaurants in NYC on the regular, this said a lot!! Mary Anne worked diligently with us on the menu, incredible tasting, as well as all of the timing details. We also catered the day-after BBQ with Blue Mountain and are so glad we did. Her staff is super friendly and the bartenders she works with kept the drinks flowing and carried out our requests without question and with ease.

Blue Mountain Bistro catered our wedding at Onteora Mountain House in June. The food was absolutely delicious and working with the BMB team was such a pleasure. Given Covid wedding planning, we had to rethink some things about our menu and how food would be served. The BMB team was so open to working with us to make sure the appetizers, dinner, and desserts were exactly what we envisioned. We had a lovely tasting where we got to try samples of all the food options which was essential to decision-making. We got so many compliments from our guests on the food. I *highly* recommend BMB for your catering needs!

We just wanted to thank you for the fantastic job you did in catering Zander and Emily's wedding dinner at Pioneer Farm last week! Not only was the food fresh, beautiful and tasty, but you and your staff were just a pleasure to deal with. It was exactly what Zander and Emily had dreamed of - and the full moon made it all even more magical! I can't tell you how many of the guests came up to us to rave about the dinner - which is unfortunately not always the case at a wedding.

Delicious food and service!!

Mary Anne and Richard of Blue Mountain Bistro created the most delicious spread of food for our wedding. Our family and friends raved about not only the taste but also how beautifully prepared and displayed everything was. Mary Anne was easy to work with and very responsive. Thank you so much for the delicious rehearsal dinner and wedding food. I enjoyed all of it but was especially thrilled to eat the steaming hot mashed potatoes! Isn't Woodstock a remarkable place for talents, yours included. As for the food, the salmon was beautifully elegant and cooked just right, likewise the roast beef. The sauces/mustard completed the tastes, the potato salad was the way you want potato salad to be, and the green salads were fresh and piled high on plates. I couldn't have been more pleased with the food and with Olivia. She provided just the right note of efficiency with the poised and seemingly effortless way she went about things. She is a lovely girl, I am sure she will be a success at whatever she does. The generous assortment of cakes and cookies were appealing to look at and equally satisfying to bite into.My leftover party goers have continued to enjoy them. The iced tea was the surprise star. Almost everyone chose it and kept going back for more. Poor wines languished in their ice. Would love to have the recipe for that tea and make it for myself. I am so glad you and Richard were able to fit me in. It wouldn't have been the same without your food.

Blue Mountain Bistro did an amazing job catering our daughter's wedding on May 27, 2017. Mary Anne was great to work with from day one...always available and very responsive and accommodating. It was a barn type wedding and we went with a more casual menu. The food was OUTSTANDING! Also, every server and bartender Mary Anne hired was professional and courteous. June '12 Wedding

The day of our wedding finally arrived and Mary Anne and Richard took over. Our tables set-up was beautiful. After Christine and I said our “I do’s”, the wedding reception began. The food at the cocktail hour was professionally delivered and FABULOUS. My favorite was the mini lobster sandwiches. Importantly, The Blue Mountain Bistro bartenders served our guests at a perfect pace, ensuring that none of our guests had to wait for a drink.

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the separate cocktail hours/canapé options that we decided on at the Onteora Mountain House worked out so well! The adults loved the more sophisticated tastes as well as the crowd pleasers that the kids wolfed down – in fact, I saw more than a few adults raid the kids’ cocktail hour and walk away with big plates of pigs, coconut shrimp and those YUMMY pulled pork cups! Of course, you KNOW I adore the chicken meatballs, etc…the smoked trout on blini is now my new favorite!
